I found out that my dad didn’t call me on Christmas because he forgot that when I called him on Thanksgiving I gave him my new phone number. And while I’m talking to him I’ll say something and five minutes later he’s forgotten what I said. On top of that he repeats things. On Thanksgiving within an hour he told me the same things at least 3 times. I know my medical knowledge makes me jump to conclusions and envision worst case scenarios, but I can’t help it and I’m worried about him.
